I wanna to take out my frets and make my bass fretless
what I need to put instead of the frets?
I understund that I need to fill the slots with a wood (maple\ebony\rosewood)
but some bassist told my that Jaco pastorius put a boat glue or something wird like these in the fret slot.
so...what i need to do? what i need to fill the slots?
    I have a rosewood fingerboard

ypu have a good guide that explain how to mage your bass fretless?

The two guitars i've done, I filled with just plain wood filler, then coated with many layers of varnish.

I've read somewhere that using some epoxy to fill the frets works.
