is it possible to get a fretted version of the Squier VM Jazz? I have the fretless version and like the "no pickguard" look. I also like the ebanol fingerboard. Just wondering what a fretted version would be like.

  2. There is no “fretted version” of that specific bass on the market. You can always buy a 2nd one and have frets installed...much easier to do than having frets removed...

There is one something like it, but not a VM, it's a Deluxe which is active. Also has the Ebanol fingerboard.
Of course you could always put a fretted neck on the VM Jazz Fretless.

Edit: Oh darn, I gave myself a bad case of GAS - this would pair up nicely with the Squier VM Fretless Jazz I also have.
