Frigelet Tuning

Discussion in 'General Instruction [BG]' started by The Artist, Jan 26, 2003.

  1. Where do on the fretboard do you do the fregelet tuning?

(Hope you know what I mean, I don't know how to spell fregelet.)

If you're referring to flagolet tuning, it's the fifth and seventh frets.

I don't know what you guys are talking about.

Is this tuning using harmonics, or what?

  5. Yeah, thats what I ment, thanks. I had only ever heard the word:)
  6. can you allso use it to "drop D"? Where would it be then?
  7. Well think about it logically, just strike the open D harmonic at the twelfth fret on the D string and then your open E harmonic at the 12 fret of the E string and compare the two......thats how i do it, although you can do it lots of other ways
