    ha--thanks man--i'm lucky to have some good stuff...i really dig hollowbodies and am always experimenting--thought the fritz bros bass was cool....i have one of the original old kay's and thought one that could be adjusted was rattle-free, in tune etc. sounded good to me.

    Well, it definitely looks cool, but there's no way I'd pay $3600 for a copy of an old Kay, I don't care how nice it is. I'd rather find a nice specimen of the original.

    edit: Just for the record, though, if I had a crap-ton of money to blow, I would totally buy one anyway.

    yeah, it's really expensive. if it came down, or if i found one used, i think i'd have to try it.
