O hear, all who would rattle the halls of Valhalla! The very weapon ye seek is within reach, for here have I to offer thee a true instrument of doom. Composed is she of three piece body (of what wood I cannot attest, but perhaps with thine eye thou canst discern), and a maple neck with a fretboard of rosewood. Both neck and body were forged by Warmoth USA. Her hardware bears no smith's mark, but is sturdy and functions well enough. Her body is of '51 Precision Bass design--that of slab and single coil pickup. Her neck likewise bears the familiar girthy profile of the Precision Bass, and shows no fret wear of significance. Some knight or knave has since converted her pickup arrangement to that of a humbucking passive Bartolini. The new pickup suits her well. She wears the shield of the house of Stingray, but beneath still harbors her original pickup cavern.

She is finished in a satin oil, and marvelously smooth to the touch. The images here shall reveal that she shows mild wear on her body (as well as screw holes from her previous body shield), but none on her neck, and is in very fine cosmetic condition overall. Currently strung BEAD, she is prepared to send Zeus' bolts toward the heavens when coupled with proper amplification. Should ye wield her properly, she will bring all who hear her to their knees. However, if ye should prefer to have her perform more traditionally, I shall include a used set of EADG strings in the bag of gigging in which she shall be cast unto thee.

$600 will suffice to have her sent hence to any location in the Continental US, with the fees of both shipping and the Gate of Paypal included. Feel ye free to contact me with any questions ye may have, and I shall be most pleased to discourse with thee in the common tongue.

    Onward, to glory!

Thank you, kind warriors, for thine inquiries. This mighty piece is of 9.8 lbs heft, and features a scale length of 34".

While I have heartily enjoyed trades of all kind in my travels, I regret that I am in need of the coin of the realm.

Me thinks that one of the the knights of the table of King Joe Dart would appreciate a weapon of this calibre. Uniting the houses of Precision and Stingray indeed. The dwarves of Warmoth forge many a mighty thing, I am sure this is battle ready. Alas though, I am spent of sheckles, so this will be but in my dreams. GLWTS.

Behold! And now envision the crest of your own house upon this mighty slab.

Note thee that in further exploring the quiver in which it shall be sheathed upon arrival, I have discovered a hoard of further treasures--a control plate and bridge of chrome, and knobs of humble stature.

Seekest thou tone woolier than Odin's beard? Art thou desirous of bottom end to rival that of Grendel's mother? It is within thy grasp!

The thorax appears to be sculpted of the ash tree. Thank goodness said tree was free of the ash-borer insects…. They’d leave the piece full of ash-holes! ;)

Alas, 'tis not the fruit of my own craft. It came unto mine hands during my travels through the dreaded forest of the Syndrome of Gear Acquisition. Oft have I been warned not to tread its paths, but I am of fool heart.

I am, in truth, more skilled with the six string guitar, and it is my hope to entrust this weapon in more capable hands.

With the sad news of the passing of Dusty Hill, it is a good day to buy this bass.
