  1. Anyone have an opinion on this pedal ... having stopped GAS'ing for a bass or amp ... maybe its pedal time.

    i just bought one and am awaiting it. mixed reviews. supposedly it's not the most bass friendly pedal out there.

    did you buy it used or new? I´m asking because the frostwave site says no orders are being taken.

    used on the tb classifieds.

  5. From what some of the Aussie forums are saying;

    Frostwave took a holiday after a long time working, but he is considering returning to the fray sometime this year.
    How soon that is I have NO idea.

  6. i have been interested in this pedal for a while as well, but the clips on their site are pretty weak and don't seem to be for bass/guitar.

    i'd love to hear your thoughts and a review.

  7. There is a shop in Melbourne that has some stock A$250 new, about USD$185.

    Musos Swop Shop I think is the name (I am not associated with them - was looking at their site for some other things and saw the pedal). http://www.musicswopshop.com.au/

    the bass balls is a great filter. not that much versatility but great nonetheless.

    The Funk a Duck is a killer pedal. Really good filter.

    Just watch your ears and your speakers. The subs and the highs are really dangerous, IMO.

    "killer pedal"

    I was afraid to hear that... now I am waiting for frostwave to open the shop again. I need something with more filter characteristics to complement my moog lpf. but I really like the sidechaining option of the fatman as well...

    Honestly, out of all the filters I've tried the Frostwave is top 3 :).

    It even gets a special pass for being difficult to power because it sounds so good.
