Motivated to accept cash offers.... there are some basses for sale here on TB that I would like to get my hands on.... make me a "reasonable" cash offer and you may be the owner of a very cool vintage Fender.

Bump with lower price. $6250 shipped. Motivated seller. Found another bass I want.
I need to get a good pair of basses that I can use for a modern jazz gig and this needs to go. Make me your best offer or trade me a Roscoe fretted 6 and fretless 5 or something very similar!

All original with original case in great playing condition. Will answer questions as best I can. [DEL]$6900.00[/DEL] dropped $6200

A beautiful 66 for sure! Sorry to see you letting her go armybass :( I just added a second 66 to my stable only 3 weeks ago... Wish I had known man...

    Lollipop bump!
  8. Armybass -

Don't do it man. It's John Keefe. I might have some boutique basses you can get your "gas" out with. I have a warrior sig 5 & a fretless roscoe with a custom single cut body if you need to jam on something. I'd love a chance to play that thing and talk you out of selling.

Nice bass. I have an early 66 J with the dot neck that had the original finish completely stripped by the time I acquired it in the 80's. So nice to see what mine would have looked like in original condition. These are great instruments. Incredible, unique sound and really easy to play. I'll spread the word here. This puppy needs to find a loving home. :)

Not much. I don't have a scale but it is average to light compared to my 75 P and J's. I would say 7-8. No way would I consider it a heavy bass.

Hey I don't even know you and I'd recommend against selling this bass! Take your pal up on his offer.. and keep the 66.

As an owner of a '66 P-bass wishing I owned a J, may I simply suggest as others here to hang on to that lovely instrument.

As Boris Badinoff would say, "If you didn't done it yet, don't did it!".

It'd be fun to have a "birth year jazz" but I just can't afford it. I play Roscoe now and love them - though a nice old J or P would be cool, too. GLWTS.
