Due to a change in circumstances, this beauty is up for sale. This is a completely original early '66 (dots and binding) sunburst Jazz. It hasn't seen a lot of play in it's 47 years, and there is very little player wear evident anywhere. Even the case is almost perfect. Everything is original, the pictures don't show them, but I have both original pickup covers. Neck is APR 66 A. Truss road is in great condition, plays as you would expect with sustain that only a 47 year old piece of wood could give you.

$6000 plus shipping gets you this time capsule.

You are killing me! I traded my '66 (which was also burst and I think had an April neck stamp) in 1986 for a Yamaha BB5000, which was all the rage at the time. I've missed that Jazz Bass ever since.

    Free bump...

As you can see in the pics, it has the original 1966 case, in great condition, with barely a mark on it, and it has the keys and the locks work!!
