SOLD FS: 1969 Sunn 100S and Sentura II tube amps

Vintage 1969 100S Sunn tube amplifier for sale. This is technically a guitar amp, but they work great for bass as well since the bass version of the head (200S) was identical except for a superfluous "bass boost" switch and no reverb/tremolo...John Entwhistle played the 100S head for awhile. The cab has a 15" and a horn so you CAN use them for bass, especially if you like it fuzzy Mountain-style, however if you want a clean modern tone I would highly recommend running a modern bass speaker cab.

They have both been recently fully serviced by a tech (including a recapping) and sound great. And LOUD. Holy hell are they loud. The head is a 9 out of 10 visually due to some rust on the chrome corner guards. The speaker cab has some staining and a couple of very minor tear/snags in the grille cloth but is otherwise in excellent condition. The silkscreened logos and labels are like new. Comes with original footswitch and a dustcover too! (warning: the dustcover is pretty stinky from basement storage)

$900 locally for the head+cabinet.

I am located in Greenland NH (the town next to Portsmouth), about an hour from Boston or Portland. If necessary it is possible that I will deliver these for additional cost, depending on how far away you are. However you will need to pay a deposit in advance as I'm not driving all day to entertain tire-kickers.
