    This bad boy is a 77 j copy with no name on the headstock. It does have a date stamp on the back of the headstock that says "050277". I've had this bass for a while and it has killer vintage vibe. Ive seen these as "Maya" or "CMI". Has a really cool tone and i reallllly like the neck. A buddy of mine has a hot rodded parts bass hes selling, so i need the cash. pm me with any questions.

    Is the body plywood? Hard to tell from the picture. Also, what is the weight? Thanks.

    yes it is ply. it is about average weight. Not as heavy as my old warwick and not as light as my p.
