SOLD I recently figured out that I'm a G&L L2K guy after all. After selling my L2K to purchase this bass a year and a half ago, I've come back around to G&L and just purchased a new-to-me 2004 L2K yesterday. So, I'm going to let this really nice Aria Pro II SB Elite I go to someone who will use and take good care of her.

I bought this Aria from TBer atrapp back in November, 2007 and have taken excellent care of her since then. This bass is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship from the legendary Matsumoku factory in Japan. It features neck-through contruction with a rosewood fretboard and a fantastic Alembic MXY pickup/preamp upgrade.

Here's the link to atrapp's thread when he sold it to me so you can see a few pics now:

I'll post some new pics of this beauty tonight when I get home from work and get the camera out. Note that the finish color is a very pale yellow - I'll try to get some pics that show its true color.

Here's a few pics I took yesterday - more detailed pics to follow as soon as I get a chance:

This is a great bass with Alembic-like sound, Matsumoku build quality and is in very good-to-excellent shape especially for a bass that is now 25 years young. I'll give her a good once over tonight and report on any dings/scratches, etc. that I can find and post pictures of same.

Price drop: $500 shipped! including the hard shell case that I received it in - probably not the original case.

    Thanks for looking,
    Herman

    and additional info on bass:
I looked the bass over last night and there are no dings only a few very light scuffs and surface scratches which are very difficult to see on the light yellow finish - no buckle rash. Overall, very clean but aged 25 years. I didn't get a chance to take any good pictures of her yet - please see atrapp's thread (link in OP) for pics - bass looks the same now as then.

Correction - there is a small ding on the tip of the headstock.

Sure-pictures of the preamp are up on photobucket. See original post for link.

There are also a couple of new pictures where I attempted to show some slight scuffs and scratches along the edge closest to the preamp.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

What is the sting spacing at the bridge? It kind of looks like 18mm but I would like to know for sure.

Bump and price drop to $500 shipped to the lower 48 - last drop before she goes to the 'bay. There's been some interest but nothing's panned out so far. This is a great bass at an exceptional price...
