I'm selling my 1983 Fender Fullerton Jazz Bass '62 RI. It's all original and in great condition. No thumb rest, and chrome pickup and bridge covers. Includes a hardshell Fender Red Tag case. More photos are posted below...

    $1,795.

Willing to trade (+/-cash) for 1964 Hofner 500/1 Bass.

This instrument was produced at the Fullerton, CA plant and is known as a "Fullerton Reissue" among collectors and players. These are very high quality instruments and are highly coveted among both collectors and players.

Stacked knobs are original? I did not know that.

The Fullerton RI Jazz basses came with stacked knobs. The original '62's weren't made that way. The 1960 Jazz Bass came that way (i think).

    Hi Jes'
It's an '83. The serial number is V0087xx, the body date is Dec 82, and the neck date is Jan 83. I can take photos of all the dates if you're interested.

    Thanks,
    Steve

I didn't take pictures when the neck was off and I don't recall the exact date. I'll remove the neck and take pictures tonight if you're interested.

It's kind of a long shot but I might be if it's made on the 27th.
