SOLD.. Here's a really cool 94 StingRay. 3-band EQ,6 bolt neck, full size vintage style bridge. White finish which has faded nicely to match the wear on the bass. Hands down the best 3EQ Ray I've owned. I think the rosewood smooths out the whole tone, she's very round sounding with some bite when needed. 9.5 lbs. I've got her set up with some old Rotos, ala Bernard Edwards. Punchy as hell. Great neck profile, much like a modern Precision bass, the the 1-5/8" nut width keeps grooving comfortable. Electronics are fine, tuners are fine, bridge adjusts fine. Truss rod turns fine,I checked it when I took the neck pics. Bass is set up with an almost arrow straight neck with lower action with no buzzing. I measured 1/8" and 3/32" for the distance of the E and G strings respectively from the 12th fret to the bottom of the string. Frets appear to have been leveled and dressed, frets 1-10 are a bit lower but the bass still plays fine. Lots of dings and scratches, well earned mojo for this fine bass. This wear is mostly on back. Well loved, broken in vibe... One of best sounding and playing Rays I've come across. Has an almost fretless quality about it with the mids half up and the treble turned down, kind of a Paul Denman Sade type tone...Comes with a Gator gig bag that that's very thick. Sold..
