    Hey guys,
As you might recall, I lost my job some time ago. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten back on my feet yet, so it looks like it's round 2 of gear liquidation :(

This time, it's a 5-string 1998 Pedulla Rapture. SN RB-6993. Killer figuring on the maple neck/fretboard. Bartolini Jazz pickups, 2 band Bartolini preamp. I just had the bass and treble pots replaced, they were acting up, so the preamp is in really good condition now. The bass is just a hair under 9 lbs, and has 17mm spacing. This neck plays FAST.

    Tons of pics up here

Looking for $925 shipped. Paypal accepted. Not really looking for any trades at this moment, so I'll probably say no, but feel free to ask anyway.

As always, if you have any more questions let me know and I'll give you as much information as I have.

    Cheers,
    Nick

Looks exactly like and could possibly be my old one (sold a few years back). I love how the logo graces the headstock just above the tuners.

Hehe, nope Riis, that's not it. It looks exactly like it because I was the one who took it. Well I recently let it go to another TBer.

GREAT bass though, especially for the money. Good luck with it!

    Atypical, not a typical...
I really want this bass!!!! I just got a Pedulla Rapture P/J set up and I adore it....

I don't have the cash though... But I have 2 basses to trade for it...

The first is a MIA Fender Jazz Bass Plus V. Lace sensor pickups, no pickgaurd, blueish/purplish body, slight clearcoat wear from years of playing. Made in 1994...

And a Warwick Corvette Rockbass with double Jazz Active pickups and preamp. This didn't sound like a rockbass, that is why I picked it up. It is bolt on, but plays so well.

Both will be adjusted well, setup and come with cases...

Maybe we can make a deal, like both and some cash, or one and more cash?

+1, minus the color, but that's nothing. It's the pickup configuration, and string spacing that have me all thinking crazy stuff right now.

Just one motivation from Pedulla website:

Many companies have much of their product(s) manufactured overseas or in Mexico by factory workers and/or manufacturing machines. Then they import them, do minor finish work or assembly here and (legally?) call their products “Made in the U.S.A.”

We, on the other hand, can proudly say that we make our basses COMPLETELY here in the U.S.A. We buy rough boards of lumber and every step of the bass-making process is done here, by Michael Pedulla and some talented help (not machines), in our small shop in Massachusetts -- Pedulla bass guitars REALLY are completely Made in the U.S.A.!

Compare it with another hi-end manufacters if they do same handmade job from rough wood....
I was surprised when I found that Pedulla which does it this way is so cheap in resale ...many of "assemblers" are same "new price" but they keep resale higher than Pedulla...does whole world freakin out???

Given that I have sent two PMs and there seems to be a problem, I will post my message here:

    Hi,

Would you consider selling to Canada?

If so, I would prefer USPS for shipment. Is that possible for you?

What sort of condition is the neck in? Any notable nicks, etc...? How about bow in the neck, string heights, etc...? Is the bass in excellent playing condition?

For some background information, I currently have the single pickup RB5, but with a Q-Tuner instead of the stock Bartolini. My bass is quite comfortable to play. Actually, I first got interested in the Raptures when I tried one in Los Angeles back in 1995. I ended up ordering the single pickup model, but can't recall if the one I liked so much in LA was the single pickup or the J2. I keep wondering if the J2 was the one that initially inspired me...
