This is a USA Custom Shop Washburn from 1998 (model made from 98-99). Quartersawn maple neck, Pau Ferro fingerboard, Buzz Feiten system (it sounds remarkably in tune), 1 9/16" at the nut, Swamp Ash body, 8.5 pounds (estimate), EMG P/J pickups with passive tone control.

Super clean bass (near mint) that would cost twice as much on the used market with a better public awareness of the quality. Outstanding build quality!! This bass retailed for $1299. in 1998 which, adjusted for inflation, corresponds to $1850. in today's dollars...

    Hard case with case "candy"...

    [DEL]$425.00[/DEL] [DEL]$390.00[/DEL] [DEL]$375.00[/DEL] $360.00 shipped in the US...

    SOLD!!

The USA Washburn Custom Shop began in 1992 with Grover Jackson heading. Staff included craftsmen from the recently closed Hamer and also from the Jackson shop.

Somebody's going to get a heck of a bass for the asking price!!

"If you can find one - get it. These are awesome guitars (and basses). While they may never command the type of money they deserve, that makes them perfect for players looking for top quality at very low prices. I can't think of another USA made guitar of this quality selling for that little money."
