made in germany bubinga body/ovangkol neck/wenge fingerboard bartolini PU`s and 3-band bart preamp/EQ 18 volt. barts are a factory option on these and IMO they sound better than the MEC`s in the spirit of full disclosure, i need to mention that someone had at one time added an extra knob to accomodate the three band EQ; i do not know the reason other than perhaps the bass originally had the two band EQ-i do not know. the glorious sound and tone shaping capabilities with this wick is outstanding. certainly the best sounding bartolini set up i have heard and that includes the pedulla buzz i once owned. approximately 11.5 LBS. not light but typical of a bubinga warwick currently strung with new DR sunbeams have owned her for a month or two and i love this bass. just had her set up professionally and is dialed in really nice. the playability is so good especially with the 16.5 MM spacing (adjustable). if you are into chordal type playing like i am, this is the bass for you. the bartolinis sound amazing on this bass-rich deep tone; articulate, quiet and has girth...the sound of wood i reckon... the only flaw is a small nick on the upper edge of the 9th fret; doesn`t affect playability and you will forget it`s there. comes with warwick rockbag and user kit. THE only reason i am selling is because i acquired ANOTHER warwick 6 string and i can only keep one. in fact, i like this one better in some respects. i am asking $1000 shipped i live in vancouver canada and can cross the US border and ship from the US to save an american buyer taxes and duties etc. for a local vancouver sale i will take $50 off the price. approximately the cost of shipping.
