SOLD FS 2008 MIM Fender Precision

    Paying bills, so time to sell some gear.

    This is a 2008 MIM Fender Precision bass. Strung with a set of Fender flats and she plays wonderfully.

    There are 2 cosmetic issues as follows:
    1) There are scuffs on the tuners as pictured. All I can figure is they were caused by whatever they use to string the basses at the factory.
    2) There is a nick in the skunk stripe which is also pictured. It can barely be felt and does not affect playability.

    Aside from that, she is in fantastic condition.

    Asking SOLDwith a Fender gig bag to the lower 48 only. Pay pal works.

    great price. i've seen those marks often on tuners and never knew what it was from.

    Is the neck like the 08 MIA's? I heard these were thinner (not the nut width).

    Do you mean the front to back width? Not sure, they feel pretty close to the same to me but I'm not expert :rollno:

    I will attest that the 08' MIM's are quality work. I have one in a metallic red color... not sure but I think it's called "candy cola". The neck on the 2k8 mim-p is smaller than that on a yamaha rbx-374. As to how they compare to a MIA, who knows.

    Tonality and buildwise, they are solid and sound. I'd compare the quality of workmanship/materials against a MIA. The pickguard is 3 ply. I bought mine for $490 + tax, and consider it to be a great purchase.

    This bass here is a steal at $300 for the type of workmanship and quality put into it. p0werslav3, it's a shame you have to sacrifice this bass to pay bills. Good luck on your sale.

    Also, if you choke a smurf, it turns purple.
