SOLD FS: 2010 Lakland Skyline 44-60 Custom (Vintage J) - Near Mint!

I have for sale a 2010 Lakland Skyline 44-60 Custom bass. This is the Lakland Vintage J model (formerly the Joe Osborn Signature) and with the Custom designation it adds pearl block inlays and a bound neck....which are very cool.

It comes in a vintage three tone sunburst finish, a maple board and a tort guard.

The only reason I'm selling this is I just picked up a US Lakland Duck Dunn bass and I need to sell a few basses to finance it.

Although this bass could pass for new, I am labeling it "near mint" because the previous owner made some modifications. When I bought the bass, the previous owner had replaced the pickups with Fender Super 55 Split Coil Pickups, added a stack knob control plate, replaced the pickguard with a Fender '62 Reissue guard and added a thumb rest and pickup cover.

The previous owner included all of the stock parts with the purchase, so I decided to put them back in (Lakland/Hanson single coil pickups and V/V/T control plate). Although I did leave the tort guard on (which I think every 3TB should have) and also kept the thumb rest and pickup cover. I mention this, because since he used a Fender pickguard, he drilled a few extra holes to make it fit. You'll never see these unless you take the pickguard off, but I want to make sure you know exactly what you're getting. Other than the few extra holes, the bass is like new.

The weight comes in at 10 lbs on my ever-so-accurate bathroom scale, and it plays and sounds great. It will ship with a Lakland tolex case (which is also like new). As an added bonus, I will throw in the original white pickguard, and the stack knob control plate, if you want it. I will be selling the Fender Super 55 split coil pickups separately, so watch for the ad.
