FS: 3/4 German Anton Schuster Bass w/ Fishman, etc.

Pics available soon. The bass has been professionally gone through by Lemur Music, and set up with a new bridge, a Fishman Full Circle and Thomastic Spiros. I've gone through 4-5 pickups and this works best with this bass.

It's been judged to be around 50 years old, and very strong. It's never let me down, and stays in tune remarkably well (better than many of my electrics!) I'm selling it with one a nice stand, as well as one of Bob G's upright bass bags.

The tone is warm, with a strong lower midrange. It bows beautifully -- even with the Spiros. Pizz is punchy. At least when I play it.

One more bonus -- Steve Azola (www.azola.com) helped me out big time with my amplified tone by providing a custom fit foam wedge that goes behind the tailpiece, and a leather velcro strap to damp the strings. These, with the Fishman, provide a very consistent, reliable tone that doesn't feed back.
