I'm selling three P-Basses to fund another purchase. The 3 basses WITHOUT the X through them are for sale.

    • Fender AVRI '62 Precision. Sunburst. 2 years old, OHSC, case candy, covers, etc. Has some swirling… nitro finish, no nicks or bumps. 1.75 nut — 8.4lbs. $1175 shipping not included

    • 1983 E3 (neck date 1984) Fender Precision Bass. Black. Fullerton, CA manufactured. Replacement black p/u covers and W/B/W pick guard included with the original W p/u covers and W pick guard. Swirling. SBK case. 1.75 nut — 8.8lbs $975 shipping not included

    • 1983 E3 (neck date 1984) Fender Precision Bass. Ivory. Fullerton, CA manufactured. A couple of bumps, but not dropped. Comes as pictured in original 1980's plastic Fender case. 1.75 nut — 9lbs $975 shipping not included

Or buy all 3 for $3,000 shipping not included

    More pics to come.

(only trade I'd consider would be for a Fender CS Pino Paladino with case, certificate, & candy)

The high gloss clear coat is dented

There is a chip on the edge of the body

There is a lighter area of color on the body (looks like it was manufactured that way?!?!)

  2. Subscribed

  3. Outstanding prices and basses! I am tempted by the Ivory/rosewood but already own 6 ivory Precisions LOL.

But please, even though the one in the middle has the dreaded red X through it... what is it? It's a real beauty!! Thanks.

Thanks Rob. The X out is an AVRI '57 from the 1980's. Vintage white. One of the best sounding Ps I've ever owned. It's a keeper. My go to.

  6. I like the black one.
But are the tuners the lightweights?
And is it a micro tilt neck?

    Thanks KC

Yep. Lightweight tuners. Micro tilt neck. Really well made basses at that time in fender history. Neck profile is very thin. Not a "baseball bat" if you will.

Bump for the 1983 P Basses that are great basses crafted in the mould of the golden age of Fender basses! And made in Fullerton. Made during the same time as Fender's Vintage reissue basses.
