    This is a drop-in replacement for the lackluster (and completely non-vintage) electronics that come stock with the Japanese Fender '51 and Sting Signature Precision bass reissue, with the correct specs to convert your MIJ/CIJ to a more authentic 1951 P bass. This includes the control panel, output jack and the knobs. Simply splice your 2 pickup wires and bridge ground wire to the yellow and black wires from the panel and you are all set. If you do not know how to solder, you can simply twist the wires together and tape them with electrical tape. The tone and volume circuit features genuine 250K CTS mini pots that will fit into the control cavity of your bass with no modification, a 15K resistor, and an Astran 0.1 MFD 200 VDC C-D paper wax reproduction capacitor, and a Switchcraft output jack. Vintage cloth wiring used throughout. Wiring diagram included!
