I'm raising some funds for a purchase, and I want it badly enough that I'm parting with some of my "keeper" items.

This is the highly-regarded and hard to find Ampeg SVT-DI, in good condition. Has some surface wear from being used, but was always transported with my microphones in a foam case, so it is in perfect working order.

The tone is wonderful and warm. I recorded in studio with it in several occasions, preferring it to anything other than an Avalon rack preamp. Its also a nice alternative to the lesser DI boxes offered at many FOH gigs.

Bottom line, you know what these are, how hard they are to come by and what they are worth. General consensus on TB is a value of $400 for a good one. I'm asking $325 shipped CONUS, power cord included. ($300 local p/u)

Worth every penny. Having the option of sending the tube signal to the amp and or DI signal is really useful IMO.

The SVT arrived safely today- thanks OZMD! I'll fire it up later this week to make sure it's working, but I'm sure it's fine. The package was unharmed.

    Thanks again!
