At the request/recommendation of some of you my last tag sale has gotten difficult to follow and know what is still available. So I will close out the old one and start a fresh thread with stuff that is available as of today 4/11/12

In new England they call it a tag sale - rest of the world garage sale I think. Anyway it is finally time to seriously thin the herd. basses, bodies, neck, pickups and amps will be available and I will continually update and add more stuff...Some vintage stuff may get included if I get swept up in the moment but most will be standard run of the mill items....Any questions and more pictures just let me know.

Item 8 - for you Hofner and Eb1 fans. A PAN hollowbody bass. Made by Univox. Scroll top. sounds really nice. great thumpy sound but bridge pickup adds nice clarity - does that make sense???.. one tuner is not original as shown in picture. comes in HSC in picture. $650














Item 9 - First warmoth bass of many to come. Beautiful swamp maple over alder body. red with maple stripe. Warmoth supplied finish. warmoth neck bart pickups and bart circuit. active/passive pot... tweed HSC $600









Item 10 - warmoth unfinished bass. Poly finish. Nice koa laminate top and bottom over ash. Warmoth rosewood/maple neck. Active duncan pups installed. I can put the pots in for you or take them out and you can put your own pups in. $ 350 or 400 with pups

Item 11 - JetStar bass - Dearmond reissue of the guild jetstar bass. NOS never used.... $350












item 12 - John Entwistle Tribute Fretless bass. Prior owner clearly was handy and loved JAE so he built a tribute bass. Core is ash with mahog laminates on top and bottom. Spider inlays like JAE's alembic bass. Core is nice and thin so bass is normal size. Neck was clearly either a gibson grabber or ripper in its prior life and used to have frets. Nice lacquer finish on the fretboard. headstock also enhanced... Duncan active pickups. Needs a nice home as I seldom plays fretless and even if i changed the neck the body style is not for me. Front laminate slight split but not body. $ 400 or 350 without the neck

ITEM 13 - Burns Scorpion Bass Another odd ball bass. Another Burns Bass - this one is a Scorpion. Not for the weak at heart. .....I don't know why except i was in acquisition mode. Death medal meets early Sabbath. ...

Comes with Burns HSC . Truly NOS as you can see. still all wrapped up. Flat black finish. PJ pups. $[DEL]400[/DEL] plus shipping... Every time i look at it ( not very often...) i think of Ozzies line " with horns that meet"

Here is one you don't see very often. At least on this side of the pond. Think early British invasion. IIRC ampeg actually distributed these in the states way back when..

ITEM 14 -BURNS BISON bass - reissue made early 2000's IIRC. NOS - plastic covers still on. Burns HSC included. $800 plus shipping.















Item 15 - Yamaha BB1000MA - the bolt on passive version of Michael Anthony's bass. Don't see these very often. New Old Stock as the pictures reflect. Hang tags and stickers still around. comes with a gig bag. $350

Item 16 Ibanez Musician bass - Comes with Original Ibanez HSC. Passive version. Single coil pups. I had one of these when they first came out and loved it as it was my first active bass. But was noisey and needed a noisegate at all times. Traded it a few years later and always regretted it. So i bought this passive one about 6 years ago and it has sat in its case ever since. I very seldom play anything other than my boutique basses or old fenders so I guess i can live without it again. $700

Item # 17 -Carvin fretless bass, MM and J pup. pretty mint condition.. comes with tweed Carvin HSC in picture. I have no idea what these sell for so i am just putting in a price till ihave time to research. I f it is too low someone will scoop it up , if too hi no one will buy it and i will havre the time to set the correct price. $400 plus shipping???

ITEM # 18 - Yamaha Attitude Deluxe. least expensive and least common of the Attitude line. nice shape sounds good $400

 

GAS is what got me here... thats why i have to downsize by about 30 basses or so...same with the bodies and amps.

i will check have to check for case candy. FWIW worth I have had the bass for about 10 years. been sitting in its case waiting to be loved.

Good few days. Yamaha BB1000MA & wishbass fretted Nemo traded, both shipped last night, Ibanez Musician shipped this morning. Just made a deal on the US Masters 4 string bass.

 

US Masters 4 string on the way to Ohio. Some more basses to be added this weekend.
