I am rationalizing my fretless inventory to a single instrument - an AC5 currently being built by Mr. Furlanetto. This BNF5 is the first of several basses I'll be vending in that process. And a beauty it is. Its tone is the usual deep, full and resonant F Bass signature, with plenty of mwah. I suspect any prospective buyers are fully aware of just how great these instruments are, so I won't go hurling a bunch of superlatives around. 2011 build. Lined fretless. Body: Spalted swamp ash / spalted flamed maple Neck: Three piece, quarter-sawn maple FB: Gabon ebony Nut: Bone Scale: 34.5" Nut width: 45mm String spacing at bridge: 19mm PUPs: Single coil stacks, hum cancelling Preamp: 3 band EQ, boost only Tuners: Gotoh GB70 Bridge: Hipshot, strings through body Weight: 9lbs, 8 oz The bass fell of a retailer's wall in Paris, causing a crack at the junction of the neck and headstock. It was returned to George Furlanetto who repaired it and warranted the repair for life. It's not a cosmetic detraction to me, but others may think differently. Included in the pictures on photobucket are shots of the repair. New street price would be around the $5000 mark. I'm asking $2800. Reasonable offers entertained. Includes F Bass gig bag. Ships from Canada. I am not interested in any trades. A teaser pic is attached.
