  1. Selling my 1981 blonde Peavey T40 in excellent condition. There's minor wear on the back, but you really have to look for it. I am the second owner and it's been gigged maybe ten times it's entire life. The original owner, my mandolin teacher through high school, said he bought the bass from the local music store in 1981 or '82. Otherwise it lived in it's case. The only issue is that the 3-way pickup selector is broken. I know its a cheap part and doesn't take too long to fix. You could find a matching switch or replace both with some thicker ones. I always thought they seemed too fragile.

Includes the original molded plastic case and the manual that came with the bass. Also in the owner's manual is a copy of the T40 & T-60 wiring diagram apparently mailed from Peavey in 1996 to the previous owner. The phase switch was broken then and was not fixed until I ordered a matching one shortly after purchasing it around 2006.

Asking price is $[DEL]450[/DEL] $[DEL]400[/DEL] now $375. I'd prefer local pickup if possible. Buyer pays shipping and insurance if that's what we end up doing. US shipping only.

Middle-TN bump. Someone needs to rock this bass!
  9. One last price drop. If it doesn't go soon I'm going to put some new, more rugged, switches on it and start playing it again.
