  1. Here is a late 90's- early 00's trans green Carvin LB70 bass that has been relieved of it's electronics and hardware. I bought this as a revival project and just couldn't find the time to properly finish it. The control cavity is fully shielded and comes with a 9v battery door and clip (the frame for the door has a crack in it, as seen in one of the pics, but this does not affect it's functioning). It came to me without a trussrod cover and the newer Carvin covers do not fit it, and it does have a new Carvin graphite nut installed. The fingerboard and trussrod had been replaced by the previous owner. The trussrod works great, but the ebony fingerboard needs more cleaning up and should probably be reglued to the neck as it is separating at the glue seam within the first 5 or so frets. The fretwork- done by myself- is also not the greatest (I will include a couple of lengths of Dunlop 6150 fretwire should the buyer see the need for a complete refret). The finish is in O. K. shape with some dings and scratches, as well as some chipping of the paint on the neck/fingerboard seam (also shown in the pics). Otherwise, this American made all-maple neck-thru bass would make a great inexpensive project. Looking to get $100 shipped to CONUS, paypal only please!!
