    Hey TB,

I have a slightly used carvin for sale for $900 shipped to L48. It has a 5-A quilt maple top & headstock on Mahogany body and neck. It is neck through & string through. Has the Piezo bridge pick-ups which have adjustable gains. Its a J-99 neck pick up, and a humbucker bridge pick-up. It has black bridge, and knobs, it has chrome tuning keys (My intentions where to put black grovers on there and it never happened). It comes with the vntage tweed case and straplocks. It is laced with flats right now and sounds really good. I will try to post pics. here is the data work up from carvins website showing the features and costs.

Maybe it is just the picture then, because it almost looks slightly green to my eyes, especially the picture of the back.

maybe, it is not green though. it is natural mahogany back and neck, maple top. pics were taken with my phone, so the hues may be slightly off..

Ah, I see. I didn't realize it was a mahogany back. That could be why it looks slightly off color, especially when compared to that beautiful quilted maple top. Good luck with the sale! Someone here is going to get one hell of a bass.

    Thanks!

It always gets a bunch of questions. I guess people in my neck of the woods dont ever see premium grade wood on instruments.

    i'd buy that if i:
    1) had money (GAS is bad)
    2) didn't have another one coming via UPS right now
    3) didn't already have my own Carvin LB75(F)

someone buy this! it's too pretty too be sitting at home! not to mention it probably plays like a dream :) .
