SOLD FS Carvin SB5001 Black and Birdseye

This is a very nice SB5001. Condition is excellent. Carvin hardcase is excellent. Birdseye fretboard is beautiful.
I bought this bass used. As I understand it you can order an SB 5 string chambered with a solid color as a special option and this is one.
This bass weighs 9.2 on my digital bath scale.
This is my second SB. I have had a 4001. They are both awesome basses. Why sell? I'm sick that way...gotta try as many as possible, you know?

Thanks, I agree that this would be true as far as I have learned from fellow TBers.
When I bought it, it was advertised as an SB5001, but the chambered SB5000 info makes more sense.

 

I had Carvin run the serial number and this is actually an SB5000. Miss represented to me as an SB5001 when I bought it. I will close this thread and start another. Sorry for the confusion and miss representation.
I didn't think that Carvin could give this type of info, but they can if you provide a serial number. I'm not sure how far back they can do this though. This bass was build in 2012.
