    The Fender MB-5 is sold!

    Still for sale is my Conklin Groove Tools (GT-5) 5-string bass in wine.
    IMHO, this is an exceptional-quality medium-priced bass, head and shoulders above anything in its price range.
    The design, workmanship, and tone are all top-notch.

    Some of the features:
    Swamp ash body with figured maple top.
    Bolt-on 5-piece wenge/purpleheart neck with purpleheart fingerboard.
    Conklin active pickups with volume, blend, bass, and treble controls gives you a nice range of modern tones.
    34" scale, 16" radius.
    Great-sounding, tight B-String.
    Also has some cool innovative features like a beveled fretboard end for comfortable slapping, and a locking input jack.

    Looks and plays great, everything is as it should be, no issues, etc., etc.

    I used to own the MB-5 and it IS an awesome playing, feeling AND sounding bass!! If it had slightly wider string spacing I would have never sold it!!

    I'm trying to tell myself I don't need that Conklin but it's a difficult task.
