I had a 5 string of these, and loved it with the exception of the B string. So I got one of these out of curiosity, and it's a great bass, unbeatable for the money IMO. I just don't play 4's much these days at all.

swamp ash body, bartolini mk-1 pickups and preamp.
figured maple top, 3 piece bolt on maple neck, 24 fret rosewood fingerboard. 35" scale
    width at nut: 1 9/16"
In mint condition, still with plastic cover on pickups.

looking for $420 shipped in lower 48. no trades. paypal/money order

What was wrong with the B on the other one? I'm needing a fiver and thought of the JPS5 as a possibility.

The B wasn't terrible, and certainly was acceptable for the price, but it just felt a bit floppy to me.
It's just something I'm pretty fussy about

Very interested.....what is the width at the nut, and is there a gig bag or case? If I get it, it's getting a set of Nordstrand dual coil pickups, an Aguilar 3 band with switchable mids!
    Thanks!
