FS: Custom Les Paul 5 string. single piece for the entire bass jens ritter inspired

For your consideration is my custom built 5 string les paul made by a local luthier and friend in the dominican republic with the best materials around. Here are the specifics (has about 800 in parts, conservatively because I shopped around for the best prices).

Body Shape: 5 string single cut Les Paul
Scale Length: 35
Body and Neck Wood: One piece of dominican mahogany for the whole instrument (minus the fretboard), hand carved inspired by seeing some of the ritter basses...
Color: Stained Blue, wood grain still showing
Fretboard: African Ebony (22 fret)
Nut: Graphtech Black TUSQ nut
Binding: White
Leds: Blue side and freboard dot leds
Pickups: Bartolini Classic Series 5 string mighty mite shape
Electronics: Passive wired two volume two tone courtesy of four alpha 500k pots + (two) Orange Drop 716 Series .100µF / 600V and a switchcraft jack in a square jack plate
Hardware: All black, hipshot type A 5 string bridge and y lite tuning machines and schaller straplocks and black les paul speed knobs

I sunk a lot of money into this bass and it took two years to build and it means a lot to me and its going to be hard to let it go. Buyer gets the bass in a practically brand new hardshell gator case (140 on Musiciansfriend) and a free set of ernieball coated strings (unopened).

Bass has a tiny scratch behind the neck at the nut that is not noticeable but for full disclosure there you have it. Bass has medium low action (might be a bit high for tapping players) but thats how I have all my basses setup and it plays awesome to me. If you are asking why am I selling it, I want a hollowbody bass, another 5 string les paul but with another idea for the build, and an ampeg svt and need the $$.

Trade wise I'm looking for an ampeg svt heritage or VR (prefer USA ones with low hours). Interested in fender custom shop 5ers, modulus 5 string fleabass, lakland 5ers (non tribute), gibson hollowbodies, guild hollowbodies, gretsch hollowbodies.

Still for sale/trade. Throw those trades at me, worst case scenario I say no... Like I mentioned I like 5 strings and hollowbodies.

 

I'll probably end up keeping it but decided to see if a TB brother might end up enjoying it.
