    Hey TB brothers and sisters.

Here is one that I simply don’t use (and one you really don't see every day) and is on the “Spring Cleaning - Thinning/Rotating the Herd” list (literally the bass has been barely used) but it’s great in every-way.

Picked this up recently at the Brookdale Guitar Show in NJ and just hoping to re-coup some of the cost.

If I didn’t spend all of my money on new bass additions, here on the forum, I would probably keep it. (Again, thanks Denny, Larry, Mike and Chris – its official, I am an addict)!

It doesn't get much funkier than this one!!

Super slick "Danoblaster" by Danelectro (MIK). These were discontinued a few years back and are really getting collectible - try to find one like this.... and in black glitter in super condition?

This Dano sports a 2x2 head-stock, great action, incredibly light weight, with the cool push-button chorus effect on the pick-guard! This one is near MINT! Looks pretty darn new! Glitters and glows!:cool:

There are two inputs, one to bypass the effects, and another to activate the battery to turn on and off the effect.

These were offered in several retro colors featuring the glitter-dust in the finish like the old Silvertone/Danelectro guitars of the '60's. The black sparkle by far is the coolest of them all!

Again, this one looks spectacular - get noticed! :smug:

    Asking $225 shipped CONUS in a gig-bag.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

I will make sure the bass is packed and shipped securely and professionally.

    Thanks for looking and enjoy!

    Joey

  3. Dude that is one funky bass. I am in no position to buy any basses ATM but I do live in New Jersey. Would you mind if a fellow bass lover/addict stops over to play this sexy thing?

I live down the shore in Forked River.

A real bass....for the price of a Squier!!!

  11. Joey,, any idea what year this bass was born?? Also can you tell me the width of then nut?? Thank you! Laurie

  12. Fantastic little basses. I had one for a while. Really light, played great, sounded good, especially for the price. One of those inexpensive little basses that you find yourself reaching for first when practicing or sitting at home even when you have more expensive toys available. Not that this bass isn't suitable for gigging too. And if I recall the metal flake is pearlescent so it glitters all kinds of fun colors like some kind of funky bass boat (the fish not the instrument). Super fly. And the built in Chorus(?) is just plain fun.

Hey, thanks! You are dead on... it is cool all around. I wish you could see it when the sunlight hits it...like a very cool Kaleidescope of glitter.

    Hey Laurie,

    It's from 2002, I believe... BUT LOOKS 2012 :smug:. I don't have a caliper BUT I think the nut is @ 1.6".

Also, this is NOT a short scale for those you have asked. It is 34"... Danelectro does have a few 30" models which I have had.. This one is standard.

    Enjoy!

    Thanks,

    Joey

    ...am I underpricing it?:D:meh:;)

Just played it this AM...sounds really nice. The nut measures 1.625, weighs about 7.2 lbs...(on my scale). Believe all PMs responded to.

Have a great Sat! Go Rangers.

    Bump -

Cool bass Joey - it has a little "Mosrite flavor" to it's design.
    Nice!
