FS: DIY Pedal Clearout!...and a LS-2

Discussion in 'For Sale: Effects and Pedals' started by karter2000, Jul 28, 2012.

  1. Hi all,

EDIT: I've added a couple more great pedals to the list.

As a compulsive pedal builder, I have many projects that I'm not using and need to go. All prices are USD and include shipping to either Canada or USA. Please contact me for international shipping. No trades please, need money!

    1. BYOC Scrambled Octave: Awesome Ampeg Scrambler clone, http://www.buildyourownclone.com/scrambledoctave.html. 55 USD SOLD!

    2. GGG Foxx Tone Machine: Self-explanitory, again an awesome clone of the FTM, http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/projects/22-octave/50-foxx-tone-machine. 65 USD SOLD!

    3. Logan 5 Pseudo Ring Modulator: Ring mod built from a kit and based on the circuit designed by the great Tim Escobedo, http://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=10868. SOLD! 40 USD

    4. Tiny Giant Amp: Not really an effect, but a tiny 20W solid state amp, designed by Taylor of Iron Ether fame, http://musicpcb.com/pcbs/tiny-giant-amp/. Surprising loud, considering the power supply is bigger than the amp itself (PS included). 60 USD

    5. Boss LS-2: In great shape, other than a scratch here and there. 50 USD SOLD!

    6. Tap Tempo Tremolo: Another musicpcb.com project, it's an excellent and versatile tremolo with tap tempo and different waveforms, http://musicpcb.com/pcbs/tap-tempo-tremolo/. 70 USD SOLD!

    7. Meat Sphere: musicpcb.com's version of the legendary Lovetone Meatball, with effects loop and "Moog" switch to emulate the sweep of a Moog filter at some settings, http://musicpcb.com/pcbs/meat-sphere/. 120 USD SOLD!

Thanks for looking! Discounts if you buy more than one (or all)!

How does that tiny giant handle low end from a bass and from pedals in the chain? I have heard a lot of things about the EHX .44 magnum and .22 caliber cutting lows, will this keep the signal pretty well ?
  9. It holds the bass surprisingly well, as things considered. It's intended to be a "clean" amp with no coloration. Obviously, being only 20W is going to have it's limits. Once you get past a certain point on the volume, it will distort. However, by that time it's pretty loud and the overdrive is somewhat pleasant. I've run it through big cabs and small cabs, and sounds great either way.

  13. To TB'r the blast, I couldn't respond to your message as your inbox was full. I don't have any clips of the Logan 5 at the moment, but I'll try to dig some up.

Whoops. Thanks, I'll clear it out! I'm interested for sure. I try to find some clips online when I make it .out to my computer in a while. I'll let you know. Does it work .perfectly? Thanks.
  15. Finally got around to doing a clip of the Logan 5 Ring Mod. I recorded it using my iphone Amplitube (no effects). Sorry for the pointless noodling. It's definitely a quirky beast!
