Up for grabs is my Eden Highwayman WT500 amp. Handmade in the USA. It features a tube preamp and dual solid state power amps. This means you can run two separate cabs with 300watts (at 4ohms) each, or you can run the amp bridged with 600watts (at 8ohms). Either way you've got an unbelievable amount of power and tone. Controls are pre-gain, enhance, bass, 6-knob parametric mids, treble, master volume, and poweramp balance. Also features what is probably the nicest compressor I've ever had the priviledge of using; with by-pass switch.
The amp is in fantastic shape and will be sent to you in a 2-space MBT rack case. I'll even throw in a top of the line speaker cable.
Solid deal at SOLD (on account of slight DI hum; see below for details). If you're in the Northeast though, let me know and we'll knock a few dollars off since shipping won't be as expensive.
Might be open to trades or partial trades. Never hurts to ask.

No kidding. It looks like 2002 to me. The picture is a little fuzzy.

Good price on a great head, I've used one as my main amp since I bought it in '96

    Manufacture date is 3/4/2002.
Here are a few more pictures. The amp itself is in excellent shape. Some may consider the 2-space rack case "not pretty" but it serves its purpose very well. I bought it used off of craigslist... it said FRONT TOP and BACK TOP on the lids... this was boring to me so I modded it to saying CONFRONT GATORS, FRONTAL TORTOISE, BACKWARDS TORPEDO, and BACK UP TOBY. It's just Sharpie so I'm sure it would come off with some cleaning product and scrubbing. But hey, as far as I'm concerned, at this price, the rack case is essentially a freebee
UPDATE: I was able to remove the writing almost completely off of the rack case; updated photos soon to come.

Interested...does this one have the hiss that some have out the mains or DI?

  13. Same question as above

Absolutely no hiss when playing the amp through a speaker cab. I repeat, the amp is flawless when playing it in a standard head/cab setup.
I did take some time with the DI today though and it sounds like there is a tiny bit of a hum... I had honestly never noticed it before. In the mix it's practically inaudible though, since I've used the DI live at several gigs without anyone, myself included, noticing any noise. We've even been in the studio lately, during which time I also used the DI and nobody noticed anything, not even the OCD sound engineer...
For reference, here's a recording that came out of one of those sessions:

Anyway, I did a google search and it does seem to be a relatively common occurrence with these amps. Thanks for drawing my attention to it!
With the little DI hum in mind, I'm going to drop the price to $380 shipped CONUS.

In other news, with a little bit of scrubbing, I was able to remove the writing almost completely off of the rack case. Lookin good:
