    The original light weight amp! Unit is in very good condition and comes with rack ears (no screws) and the carrying bag (beat, but still functional). Was in need of a new preamp tube so I put the only extra one I had laying around the house in it (an Electro Harmonix, factory reccomends a Ruby).

    $295 plus actual shipping from zip 45252. I ship with my FedEx account so it's usually pretty reasonable. Will not ship to Canada (I still can't figure how NOT to pay import taxes). PayPal welcomed.

    300w RMS into 4 ohms, about half that into 8 ohms.

    I presume the compressor is like the WT550. You can defeat it by pulling the Enhance knob. If you keep the compressor active, then you control it with the input-gain knob. More gain, more compression. I typically set my 550 to just blink the green gain LED with loud notes.

    The 550 has a red Compression LED that shows when the comp kicks in.
