  1. Now that I'm back in town for a couple of weeks I am re-listing my Eden WT-405. For sale, no trades. Paypal or money order. $400 plus actual shipping to CONUS via FedEx Home Delivery from Visalia, CA 93291. (EDIT: Now willing to consider international shipping as well -- buyer to pay all shipping/import fees -- please don't ask me to designate the package as a "gift.") Shipping will range from around $25 for West Coast buyers to around $35 for East Coast buyers. This is a fantastic amp in excellent working and cosmetic condition. See pics. I bought it here on TB a few months ago, and unfortunately I need to sell to cover other expenses. I'll miss this amp! It's all packed up very securely and ready to ship. The Eden CX110 cab in the pics has already been sold.

    Thanks for looking! :bassist:

    From the manual:
The WT405 delivers 250 watts @ 8 Ohms, 405 watts @ 4 Ohms and 650 watts @ 2 Ohms. It has +3dB of headroom and features a thermostatically controlled active cooling system with built-in thermal safeties. You have purchased what we feel is one of the finest bass amplifiers in the world. The pre-amplifier section, with its familiar Eden Enhance control and powerful new 3-way tone control system are coupled to a studio quality compressor. The automatic Dynamic Booster for low and high frequencies, along with a mid shifter, tone bypass, selectable DI, selectable distortion, and a gentle auto-compression circuit, allow you to achieve a wide array of sounds. This compact, rack mountable package houses modular circuits made with superior components and designed for years of troublefree service.

  2. Now listed on Ebay with Buy It Now, but I'll cancel the listing if a TB'er wants to buy it here before it sells there!

  4. These units ROCK. Nearly micro-sized but definitely not micro-sound. Happy sales

I can't believe this amp is still here at this price. If I had the cash it'd be gone in a heartbeat. Amazing compressor on this little unit.

  8. Thanks Quackhead; yeah, it breaks my heart to sell it...but our refrigerator went out this summer and out came the credit card...as versatile as the WT-405 is, it just won't keep our milk cold...tried 8 oz, 4 oz, and 2 oz loads...ha!

Sweet compressor and super easy to dial in the perfect tone. I love the bass boost and treble boost buttons, especially when using it as a hi fi sound system amp for playing back recorded music! The dual quarter inch inputs work perfectly for summing a stereo audio signal to mono, so when I'm listening to "Peace Of Mind" by Boston, I can hear both guitars take turns during the stereo solo section instead of just one guitar and then nothing...

The input/output options on the back panel are just amazing. That, in addition to the famous Golden Ear chip powered, rich warm signature tone, and the ability to run it at 2 ohms...why am I selling this?????? :( My loss, your gain!

Sounds great with any cab combination. I really liked using it to push a 4 ohm Acme Low B2; also used it recently with three 8 ohm cabs for an outdoor gig -- two GK 115MBE's and one Eden CX110 -- and it didn't break a sweat (unlike me, who was sweating profusely...)

Also used it to power two 8 ohm Acme Low B2's, but as Andy Lewis recommends at least 350 watts per B2, there was only so much volume I could get doing 405 watts for two B2's as you can imagine, but nevertheless the tone was fantastic. By the way that was playing in the Visalia Convention Center for a very large church service -- huge room with terrible acoustics...so PA support was needed but stage mix was superb!

I used it in a pinch for a PA amp -- ran my vocals through an SM58 and right into the head -- Awesome result!

They are one of the best heads Eden ever made. Fortunately quite a few were made so they're not all that uncommon used. And if well taken care of they will last a very long time. They're built like tanks. Like I said, I wish I wasn't so broke right now, otherwise it'd be on its way to me.

  10. Agreed! And I have a sister up in the Sacramento area...she used to live in Elk Grove.
