Hi All, up for grabs is a new pair of passive EMG 40hz pickups that I bought new for a project bass, but I just bought a used Lakland 4401 instead so I'm selling these as they won't fit. Would definitely trade for US Bartolini MK4 pups. No preamp required since they're passive, but works well with active tone. There is about 12 inches of cable on each pickup and screws are included. These cost $89 each and I'll sell the pair for $80 including priority mail shipping. I had these in my old Spector Rebop and they had nice punchy tone. Professional installation always recommended though this install is pretty easy. Can be wired in series or parallel or perhaps even split / single. Check the wiring instructions below.

    From EMG:

"This passive model features a dual-coil design for low noise and plenty of output. Using EMG's "CS" design (Ceramic and Steel), the resulting tone is much warmer as a result of the higher inductance of the steel, and thus has a smoother attack and a flatter high end. All of the HZ bass models feature solid bar magnets that cover the entire width of the strings so any string layout can be used. This model uses an extended housing that is 4 inches (102mm), perfect for five string spacing’s. From classic rock to heavy metal this pickup performs."
