DEAL PENDING For sale only is an EBMM Classic Sterling in gorgeous tobacco burst finish with flamed maple neck and fretboard. One of the prettiest and best-sounding basses I’ve owned. Included is an upgraded tort pickguard, which looks fantastic on this bass. (I no longer have the original black pg.) Also included are Dunlop Strap-Loks and the Music Man OHSC. This Classic Sterling, made in San Luis Obispo, CA, features 2-band EQ, string-through bridge with mutes and a slab body. The bass has a gloss neck and fretboard. The tinted, vintage-looking fretboard is stunning. Controls are volume, treble and bass. She weighs 8 pounds, 15 ounces on my digital scale, and is strung with DR Marcus Miller Fat Beams. The bass is in perfect condition except for one tiny (1/8 of an inch) ding at the top. I attempted four different photos before getting one in which lighting conditions could show the ding. This high-quality Classic Sterling has been lovingly cared for and kept in a smoke-free home. As you probably know, the EBMM Sterling features a smaller body size and neck than the StingRay. I’m one of those who vastly prefer the Sterling’s profile to the StingRay. Just a very comfortable and natural-feeling bass to me. I also love the 2-band EQ – better, IMO, than the 3-band that’s standard on regular Sterlings. I bought this bass last fall from its first owner.
