TRADED I acquired this gorgeous bass in a trade, but it's just not what I'm looking for, I'm not looking to make a profit, just get out what I have in to it. From the original ad,
    For Sale: EBMM Stingray5 Bass
    Finish: Egyptian Smoke
    Pickguard: Python
    E45808 - DOB: 02/14/05
    Weight: 9.7lbs
Price: $1200 including shipping to lower 48 states.

Currently strung with brand new Sadowsky flats. I can include the new DR Dragon Skins that were only on for 1 practice & 1 gig if the buyer would like them.

    Here's link to more pics:

There is a small surface scratch on the back, clear only.
I took a pic, but you can't make it out (you can barely make it out in person).
There are a couple of small nicks on the back of the neck. Not noticeable when playing. Comes w/ SKB Freedom case.

Free bump for ceramic pickup and Series, Parallel, and Single Coil mode all in one package. This bass has the same electronics (pickup, preamp, and switching) as the current Sterling 5 H. The best sounds EBMM makes. Parallel mode for slap tone and the classic StingRay sound. Series mode for punch-you-in-the-face aggressive midrangey tone (my personal favorite).

They changed the SR5 in 2008 to the alnico pickup. So, if you want the best sound and the StingRay 5 styling, an older SR5 like this baby is your only option.
