UP for sale is a recent ESP Vintage 214 fretless bass. Very nice player, sounds excellent and balances well. Just traded another bass for a epoxy board fretless I'm really diggin and since I really have no business playing one fretless I really shouldn't play two... ;)

Most of the hardware is pretty nice so I only did the following mods:
-EMG Pickups wired in V/V/T. no mods were needed to fit the battery as there was plenty of room under the pickguard.
-complete setup and re-radiused the rosewood fretboard to a true 12" radius
-setup with a new set of Labella white tapewounds.
-each fret had a side marker, I blacked out the ones out that shouldn't be there with a sharpie, It can be undone.

Seriously, this a killer playing bass, just don't need two fretless basses.

Asking for $300 shipped CONUS. They sell for around $380 new but haven't had all the work done. This is in Like new condition with the obvious exception of the pickups.

Sorry the pics have some weirdness to them, super humid here, camera kept fogging.

Thanks! If there isn't much interest I'll just sell my fretless jazz. I'd be happy keeping this bass. Only really need one fretless. :D

I do, didn't put them back on because the are for split shaft pots and the 25k's I had on hand were sold shaft. I can include the original knobs in sale.

You would have to do some work, either replace the pots or drill out the knobs. The have set screws. If it will seal a deal I can drill them out for you so they work?

    Thanks!

I can knock $50 off the price if someone want the bass shipped with the original pickups. The EMG's are much better but I'm flexible. The original P pickup was ok but the J wasn't so great.

I knew I'd get someone with that!;)

    1 5/8" it's got a pretty comfortable neck profile. Not a jazz more like a 70's b style precision.

What a cool version of that tune, like a Crosby Stills Nash approach.

The elusive money tree would be helpful...:D

Put my epoxied lined fretless neck up for sale too, if I can sell that I will probably keep this ESP.
