Edit: The FBB is SOLD to a good home for the giveaway price of $550.
Marshall, you're killing me with this thing .....
That bass shows just how far Matt has come with his bass building skills, and you can really see how he used your bass as a learning tool for many of his designs since then. The one absolute constant in all of his basses is the tone, they all have that ability to handle a lot of different situations yet still maintain the FBB sound.
If I wasn't in the very early stages of communicating with Matt for a fretted 7 extended single cut, I'd be all over your bass if for no reason other than the fact it was one of the first ones he built. I, too, have a bass limit and I'm over it right now. Plus I'm really trying to behave myself until the end of the year when I formally place my order......
Bump for the prototype of a great lines of basses .....
Thanks Ed for the comments. It is a sweetie...hope somebody can give it a good home. Forgot to add that it comes with a quality Musician's Friend soft case (with detachable backpack) that's too big for it, but protects it well.
what a deal Marshall! And to think I was going to trade my Zon for this bass last year (still wish we would have). If I didn't acquire a fretless already I'd definitely take this off your hands. So, did you get a fretless ritter to replace it?
Good to hear from you! I'm getting a Turner...my Ritter savings account was changed into a baby expenses account, since my wife and I are expecting (due any day now). Oh well! If you want a second fretless, let me know...I should cut you a break since I waffled about this with you before!
Everybody - this is priced "OBO"...all reasonable offers considered. I'll also consider partial trades involving effects.
any pics of the back ?
There are some other photos here:
They can be clicked on to enlarge twice. If anyone wants more, let me know.
huh, that doesn't work...
Sorry about that. That's weird...I wonder if anyone else is having that problem. Don, I can email you pictures, and I'll try to post some elsewhere as well. PM me if you'd like big photos emailed.
EDIT: I put some photos here: http://groups.msn.com/marshallonbass/fbbfretlessbass.msnw?Page=1
Hey, wow! I was the original owner of this one. Nice bass!
Thanks! I had no idea. Come on guys, this has been owned by the great Funkycarnivore!
Wow, I can't believe this bass is still hanging around here Please, please, please, somebody buy this thing and get it off of here .... I really can't afford to spend the money for it right now .........
Bump to preserve my sanity .........
