    I have for sale a custom unlined fretless FBB. This bass is in great shape and it hurts to let it go. Playability is great and the tone is fantastic. It has that horn-like fretless tone that I love.

    Here are the specs.

    SPECS:
    model: 4 string freltess Moderna
    body: figured jatoba over sassafrass with khaya accent
    neck: 3 piece maple/wenge set-neck
    fingerboard: 34" scale madagascar rosewood
    pickup: Bartolini M34CBC - M3 Soapbar (an upgrade)
    electronics: passive volume and tone
    hardware: ziricote/guiacan bridge, Gotoh tuners
    weight: 7.5lbs
    string width: 1.25" at nut, 2.25" at bridge {the nut itself is actually 1 9/16"}


    Price: $900 including shipping in the lower 48. I take paypal or moneyorder.

    Price drop to $850 shipped.

    Pics are from a previous owner, but the bass is in the exact same condition.

    I've played a few fretless FBB's at Matt's shop and they always sound amazing. If this was a 5 or 6 I would be in trouble...:)

    I've owned two,similar construction..I regret selling 'em, I had to finance a home studio...but yes, grab these and hold on to 'em,Matt knows his stuff,very organic,woodsy,complex tones,each one unique and one of a kind.

    My old bass!! This is a sweetheart of a fretless, and Matt's work is about the best bargain in the business.

    Seriously guys, these FBB basses are amazing. I'd jump on this if I didn't prefer lined fretless.
