Hey All: I bought it a few months ago from Cambridge Music Center. I was told from the sales associate that when it came in, they took it apart and inspected everything, and was told it was authentic. One of the tuners was replaced, but the replacement looks almost identical (Shaller). It has a tele style pickup, volume and tone control, black body and pickguard. Keeping in mind I am not a professional guitar appraiser, I would call the condition "good, a well used and taken care of player". Fret wear is moderate, nothing that would require immediate attention in my book. The fretboard is in very good shape. Back of the neck has a couple small patches where the clearcoat no longer exists, but other straight and strong. The body has plenty of little scratches and several small dents that didn't crack through to the wood. Body sides (especially where you would right arm would rub) have some small patches of exposed wood. Electronics work fine, but the tone control appears reversed. A little noisy, but I feel that anybody with any tech experience (ie NOT ME!, lol) could fix that. Comes with a Fender gig bag. If I played in more studio situations, I would not sell this bass. From the moment I first played it in the store, it instantly evoked an authoritative, 70's R&B, Funk, Sound track sort of sound. This is a piece of real history. Not looking for any trades, but please post a message here if you might be interested, or PM your offers. I would love to deal local with this one, but shipping is cool if you pay. Thanks to some honest TBrs, I increased the asking price. I thought I was really gonna get burned on this one, but it seems like there is some real interest out there for apx. what I paid for it. ***ASKING $500 *** ***PICTURES TO BE ADDED SOON***
no asking price? I think you need one to post in this forum I would say that if you are looking for offers, you won't get many good ones if nobody can see what condition it's in.
