Considering selling my Fender Power Jazz Bass Special in aqua-blue or turquoise. See photos. It's the welll-regarded E-series, mid-1980s made in Japan. (Might also be late 80s). I think it was considered part of the Contemporary Series.

Excellent build quality, all original, including hardshell case. A few cosmetic dings but nothing that affects play. Mechanically excellent. Rosewood neck – straight and comfortable. The electronics all work great.

Works in active or passive mode and produces amazing mix of tones. Frequency sweep, ATE Circuit boosts lows or mids, TBX tone control, Pickup selector switch toggles between P & J pickups or both together. Purchased from original owner in June. I just have too many basses.

Everytime I pick it up I find new things to like but I thought I would see what kind of interest there might be. Still yearn for a Ric and this might get me closer.
Will post a few photos now and more, including blemishes etc, later.
Looking for $575 cash plus shipping CONUS. No Trades.

OK, I couldn't resist this shot. Bassman is NOT for sale. (And it is a beauty)

That is a really cool looking bass. Love that color. What is the neck profile on one of those? Do you happen to know if the fretboard is 9.5" or 7.25"?

Sexy! This is one of the later ones with the better bridge. And damn, I love that color.

Radius is 7.25, according to the Fender manual for this bass. Thanks for asking

If this wasn't turquoise in color, it would probably be mine already. I have recently developed some GAS for a white/silver/grey/black version of this.

    GLWTS bump.
