    Details on this particular instrument:
This Bass is in excellent condition. 10/10 with absolutely no dings, chips, or scratches in the neck or finish anywhere on the bass. I’m the original owner who ordered the bass from a shop in Southern Connecticut when I lived back in Massachusetts. All equipment is original and stock minus the control knobs, which I switched out because I didn’t like the original cheap rubber ones. I will include the original knobs and extra replacement as well. There is the slightest wear on the pickup covers but is barely noticeable. The photo of the back of the head-stock shows what looks like a finish flaw of a lighter area. It wasn’t noticeable at all until I put it under direct bright sunlight and is not a scratch. Comes with the original G&G case. The Bartolini pickups and pre-amp work as expected and are in excellent condition. If you are this far in the ad then you already know what sounds this system is capable of producing.

I played the bass for quite some time as a backup to my much heavier EBMM Stingray 5 but over the years I discovered the 35” scale to be more difficult to manage with my shorter 5’8” stature and the string spacing is a little wider than I really like. Consequently the bass is only pulled out occasionally for tracking in my home studio but hasn’t been out on a gig in about 3 years. I love the instrument and will hate to part with it but it just isn't for me anymore and it needs to be passed on to someone who will play it.

I will ship the bass insured via FedEx CONUS only. The battery will be removed and kept in the case during shipping.

PayPal only please and SORRY, NO INTERNATIONAL SALES.

Not interested in trades, I’m trying to offload to thin the herd BUT try me…you never know.

PM with specific questions and I’ll post more pics if needed. I can also do some sound clips for serious inquiries.

    Thanks for looking!

The first 3 pics are from when I first brought the bass home in 2003. The next 2 were from insurance documentation in 2014. The remaining pics are from 2/16/2016 for this thread.

Beautiful finish on this one. Every 55-94 Deluxe I've heard has the fattest bottom, tuned in just right.
