Heya, bass playas. Just putting a feeler out there to see if there is any interest in my recently-acquired Alleva Coppolo KBP 5. I've had it about a month. I already have a P that I'm in love with, so this god of a bass has just been sitting around, which just ain't right. People - this thing is insane. When you play it, you'll understand why Alleva Coppolo basses usually go within 24-48 hours of listing on here.

I'm looking to get $3800 shipped CONUS, or make me a reasonable offer. I'm a reputable dude, so reach out with confidence. Not looking for trades of any kind.

It's a mid-2008 model in sunburst, nitro body and neck, ultra-smooth Brazillian Rosewood fingerboard that plays like a dream with nice string tension up, down, and across the neck. The usual 34" scale, bone nut, vintage small frets, and the rest of the specs of an AC KBP 5 Custom. Best of all? It is light as a feather at around 8 lbs. This was Mitch's old touring bass, so it is nice and broken in with mojo to spare (but not too much - see pics). It also has the more compact body that everyone seems to want now. This beast has really served me well when I've used it, but that is the problem: I just don't have much use for it :(

Hmmm... my old bass, and it's certainly making it way around North America. I've thought about grabbing it back once or twice; it was a stunningly beautiful instrument at birth. Should have payed it a visit when it was near home recently.

hey look at that! This was my main bass for a few years and one of the greatest sounding and feeling basses I've ever had the pleasure of putting under my fingers. If that classic dark, punchy, thumpy P-bass tone is your thing but you're looking for a smooth feeling 5er to transition to, THIS is that bass, as it was for me. Also, the BEST recording bass I've used to date. Now I miss it!!! :)
