This is a killer Fender 1965 Reissue Jazz. Burgundy Mist with matching headstock!!! Bass has LINDY FRALINS installed and cloth wiring. This bass was manufactured by Fender - and is not a parts bass. Includes Fender Tweed gigbag not the case in the pic. NEAR MINT! Great bass looks and sounds teriffic strung with flats at the moment. Could use a basic setup as I bought it from someone off ebay and don't think they ever messed with it. Made in Mexico June 2002. Its a beautiful bass, the pics don't do the burgandy mist justice. It was an implulse ebay buy and I need the money to fund another bass that I really want. Price Drop $700 shipped and paypal ok.

Just so you know this is a classic 60's jazz FSR Burgundy Mist and not a 65 ri. They are fairly hard to come by. If I had the money i'd be talkin to you about where to ship it but alas....

PRICE DROP $700 shipped, remember this has Fralin pickups. I might go buy a good hardshell case to go with it as well instead of the gig bag.

She sure is a beaut, and needs a good home. Just an FYI, I AB'ed the Fralins in this one with my Joe Osborne and I almost want to switch them out. They sound incredible. I won't though so that some lucky TB'er can enjoy them.

In my opinion Fralin make the best pickups, especially on a J in my opinion. I've got 3 Jazz basses and 2 of them have Fralins and the other is bone stock (since I never play it) This bass is killer with flats.

    What brand are the flats?

The flats that are on it are Sadowsky, which are pretty much Labella. They are about 6 months old from what the guy said and in my opinion, they are just now starting to hit there prime.

Could you get some outside photos so the true color can shine through?

If I could find a taker for the Fralins at $120, I would sell the bass only for $600. Any takers on this option. I only want to separate them if I have a buyer for the pickups and the bass at those prices.
