FS Fender Jazz Bass Special Body loaded - original electronics

Here is a nice 1987 MIJ Fender Jazz Bass Special body. *note: the neck is not included and is no longer available.

AKA the Duff Mckagan model in black.

Hardware updated to chrome except for the black Schaller (straplock) strap buttons. All original electronics. Passive Vol-Vol-TBX tone and pickup selector switch.

I can ship instead with the original black bridge and "F" logo knobs though the bridge is a bit tarnished and one of the knobs is missing the "F" top cap. Neck plate is not included.

The basswood body has some scuffs, scars and dulled paint from being played well...a good rub-out would do wonders.

The body is light as to be expected...just over 5 pounds.

Price is $195 shipped in the 48 contiguous US.

Trade bait is limited to a Fender compatible Jazz bass body preferably unloaded...with cash +/- to be determined.

Here are photos of the main dings in the bass. There are many little imperfections as basswood is pretty prone to dents, but these are the only ones that are easy to photograph.








Lastly, as I said, if you would rather have the original bridge and knobs I will swap them out. If you want both bridges and all the knobs add $20. Here is the a pic of the body with the original hardware. Again, no neck plate included.
