  1. Decided to part out the bass I had up for sale here for a week or two.
Here's a 85-87 Fuji-gen MIJ E-Series Precision body, unloaded save for the strap buttons. Condition reflects many years of loving play and consistent gigging. Lots of "worming" and buckle rash on the back of the bass. A few indentations and minor scuffing here and there. No major dents or any damage through the finish, except for a small paint chip near the neck pocket (see photo).
The Felix decal on the back comes free!
I also apologies for the reflections and weird lighting in the photos, it's admittedly difficult to photograph a black bass.
The weight of the body is between 4 and 4 1/2 pounds using the bathroom scale method.
Overall, a nice solid body that has always served me well. The years of play and aging has made the body super resonant and comfortable.
Looking for $200 shipped CONUS, shipped via insured UPS.
    No trades, please!

Neat body. Is that belly contour extra deep/wide?
  3. Not that I've been able to tell. It feels the same as my CIJ 57 P.

Will the decal come off without damaging the finish? (No offense to Felix, of course.)
  5. Yes, Felix seems to be able to come off without much effort. If anyone wants him taken off, I can do my best before shipping.
  6. Bump.

    You still have the neck?
  10. The neck is sold.
  11. Y'all are crazy! You are totally going to devalue the bass by taking off the OEM Felix sticker. Most people love a pristine Felix decal on their instrument and would never even consider the "No-Felix" mod to their Bass. Like all those guys in the '80s that routed out their pre-CBS strats to put in Floyd Roses, you are going to really regret the loss of your Felix, when the "Felix-era" Fender bodies start commanding top dollar on the collectible market. Your grandchildren are going to start crying when the antiques roadshow guy points out the outline of Felix and tells them how much more valuable this would have been with the original decal.
  12. BTW, I know a guy who swapped out his stock Felix for a high-mass SadAss II Felix and he swears it totally changed his tone but no one else hears any difference.
  13. You're right, Felix is totally underrated on any bass!
Bump for Felix! And a price drop too. $200 shipped.
  14. Price drop to $175 shipped.
  15. Bump. $150 shipped, fully-insured within the contiguous United States.
  16. Would an MIM Fender precision neck fit this body?

  17. Yes, in fact I had a 2003 MIM P bass neck on it for awhile.
  18. Still available.
  19. Pm'd
  20. Sold pending payment.
