I'm sadly tossing up this absolute gem for sale or possible trade. It's a WONDERFUL bass, but it's just not seeing the play time it deserves. sounds and plays amazingly, just had a pro set up. Asking $1350 shipped As far as trades go, I'm always up for offers. But in all reality, the only things I KNOW I'd want are Fender American deluxe jazz with the block inlays or Musicman stingray 5 HS Other possibilities would include a 70's jazz bass. I'm absolutely insane about the newest Fender deluxe in white with the black pearl inlays I lean towards 5's but in this case 4 or 5's are nice. As always, hit me up with any questions. It's 1.5" at the nut. The neck isn't your typical Warwick feel. Its not quite as thin as a jazz but its close (depth-wise). Its not a thick baseball bat neck. Most of my buddies didn't like Warwicks because of the bat necks, but fell in love with this. Overall in general, I'd say its a bit thicker jazz neck. But not big n chunky.
Definitely not thick and chunky. I have one of these and they're fantastic basses. They're also very light (normally about 8 lb) and have NO neck dive, which is very unusual for a thumb. I can thoroughly recommend this bass to whoever is interested. I've had mine for 6 years and can't see myself getting rid of it anytime soon.
Added lots of spec info to original post. Electronics are stock 3 band EQ, vol, pickup balance. Push/pull active/passive on Vol knob.
yea, I was extremely shocked about the neck dive too. I expected it to be there...but it's well balanced indeed!
Some people have been asking about condition. Sadly I bought the bass with these in it, but on the positive, I didn't add any of my own They're relatively small, the ones in the back I had to try and get the light at the right angle. Aside from these 3, I couldn't find anything else. If I do while I'm scouring for them again, I'll surely make a note.
Update: Found my next bass, its on layaway. Warwick is now for sale only. But dropping price $100 for fast sale. $1250 shipped (firm)
On the brighter side but with just enough compression for a great slap tone when you want it. Actually a great range of tones, particularly when activating the coil tap on the bridge pickup.
